Founded in 1989, Advanced Chromatography Technologies (ACT) is dedicated to providing the highest quality HPLC columns and packing materials for use within the scientific community.

Advanced Chromatography Technologies was initially formed to provide a chromatographic consultancy service and manufacture chromatographic silicas to customer supplied specifications. Following an intensive Research and Development program:

1998 - the ultra inert, high purity ACE C18 and C8 HPLC column ranges were launched.

1999 - the ACE HPLC column range was expanded with the introduction of C4, CN and Phenyl phases.

2000 - independent tests reported ACE HPLC columns to outperform all leading brands and become the fastest growing brand of HPLC column.

2001 - this range was further enhanced with the introduction of ACE AQ and ACE C18-HL (Hi-Load) column ranges.

2002 - ACE 300Å range launched.

2003 - the range of LC/MS HPLC & rapid analysis columns have been expanded, including introduction of capillary LC column range.

2004 - preparative column range expanded with introduction of 30mm diameter columns.

2005 - 40th international distributor appointed. ACE columns are now available globally through an extensive network of approved distributors.

2006 - following success with the existing preparative products, new ACE Prep materials are introduced for bioanalytical prep applications. Available with 300Å pore size, 10um and 10/15um particle sizes and C4, C8 and C18 surface chemistries, ACE Prep materials are available in both bulk and as pre-packed columns.
